Susan Leonardi teaches literature and writing at the University of Maryland, College Park.  She is the author of two books of nonfiction and numerous articles, reviews and short stories. She has won a Students' Award for Excellence in Teaching and chaired the Committee on Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual studies.
