The news from Haiti is devastating, and as we get more information, the story just gets worse.  When people are suffering all over the world (think of those being blown up in Afghanistan and Pakistan too), is it appropriate for those of us whose lives are not directly affected to still feel good about our situations? Well...the least we can do...those of us that are fortunate and blessed as to not be directly affected, is to just do something. This will be one of my contributions: "Song for Haiti." When you listen to it, expect to hear the saddness of lives being lost. At the same time, expect to the strength which represents the resiliancy in the people.God have mercy...and bless the people of Haiti.Help them get through this time in a way that will help them to draw near to you as a country. Amen
