Public Record Equal Voice’s 10th Anniversary SummitHeld in Ottawa from March 10th to 11th, 2011, this summit, organized by Equal Voice, was entitled "Leveraging women's leadership for the 21st century: changing the game". The opening panel of the conference featured the launch of Deep Roots, Strong Wings, an online campaign school geared to First Nations, Métis and Inuit women. Presentations were made by Former Liberal MP for Nunavut, Nancy Karetak-Lindell and Claudette Commanda, Algonquin Elder and Executive Director of the First Nations Confederacy of Cultural Education Centres.
