李少光稱上月懷疑核事件無影響周圍輻射水平
保安局局長李少光表示，本月中接到傳媒查詢有關大亞灣核電站，上月23日發生的懷疑核事件之後，已向港核投資公司及廣東省核管辦查證，確認一個反應堆的冷卻水，因為一根燃料棒的包殼有微小裂痕，令冷卻水的輻射水平輕微上升。 李少光在立法會回應議員質詢時說，事後發電站內及周圍環境的輻射水平，沒有異常變動，顯示事件對外界沒有任何影響，天文台的監測亦顯示，五月份本港的輻射水平，沒有超過正常的浮動水平。 他又說會與中電及廣東省核管辦商討，希望加強通報機制及透明度。
