This, alongside Pokemon Pearl, make the 4th generation of canon Pokemon RPGs released for Nintendo’s hand-held systems. This takes the classic Pokemon formula, catching and raising hundreds of unique creatures and battling them against other Pokemon, and adds several new features. These new features include online battling and trading, double wild Pokemon battles, a new look to the battle system and, of course, brand spanking new Pokemon to catch and raise. A worthy edition to the legacy, I would heartily suggest this to any DS fan looking for a deep, yet easy to pick up RPG. Easily my favorite version in the franchise, I give this title two thumbs up.
