Pakistan political killing a ‘milestone’
The killing on Tuesday of Salman Taseer, the governor of Pakistan’s Punjab province and a close ally of president Asif Ali Zadari, has deepened the political crisis in the country. Farhan Bokhari speaks to the FT's Deborah Bonello from Islamabad about the mood in Pakistan following the highest profile political killing since the assassination of Benazir Bhuto, the former premier, in 2007.
