Night of the Tater came into being when I heard a native German speaker make a hilarious butchering of the English language, rendering the prevalence of potatoes in Irish cuisine as "Many potatoes eat the Irish". The story in its final form was conceived of after the announcement of Brickfilms.com’s IDEA (Inventiona, Discoveries, Extraordinary Achievements" competition.  Filming took place late at night over a period of around two weeks.
