Oyster fisherman face uncertain future
Nado Popich, a third-generation oyster farmer from Croatia, goes out on what could be one of his last runs for oysters this season. Popich, who employs up to four workers every time he goes fishing, says he stands to lose as much as $100,000 if the oil slick in the Gulf of Mexico reaches his oysters in Empire, La.
