this next story shows the the huge need for affordable housing in one four corners city. the second phase of the cedar view apartments opened today in durango — and all 55 units are already cupied. "i’m still almost in that pinch me kind of thing. i have to keep reminding myself i don't have to get up and leave and pack or move anywhere else. i don't have to do anything. i'm right here...this is my house and i love it" a federal hud program paid for the apartment complex for senior citizens. there's already a waiting list for seniors who want to live there. the complex is still accepting applications and will keep adding people to that wait list.
