ABC Sells Rights to Cancelled Soap Operas (DIS)
Disney’s (NYSE:DIS) ABC has sold the online rights to "One Life to Live" and "All My Children," two long-running soap operas scheduled to go off the air this fall, as part of a deal with Prospect Park, a TV, film and music company. The soaps may pick up where they left off on a TV-focused online network. Prospect Park is said to be finalizing its current round of funding for its Hulu-style venture in the next month to 45 days, but financial terms are not available.Walt Disney has a potential upside of 21.6% based on a current price of $39.57 and an average consensus analyst price target of $48.14.Walt Disney is currently below its 50-day moving average (MA) of $40.43 and should find support at its 200-day MA of $39.26. In the last five trading sessions, the 50-day MA has fallen 0.23% while the 200-day MA has remained constant.
