A major residential project is soon to be built right next to the famous Fung Yuen Butterfly Reserve. Will it drive away or kill off the insects? Conservationists, villagers and developers have mixed views towards city development and conservation. Butterflies are indicators of the biodiversity of our natural environment.  Through publishing books on butterflies and organizing field trips, conservationists are trying to nurture a love for butterflies among the public and in turn an appreciation of environmental protection.
