東北福祉大前、北山と多数の旅客を乗せ近郊区間を走ります。北仙台は高層の建物が建ち並ぶようになり、終着仙台が間近なのを感じます。ここで対向列車と行き違い。複線高架にする計画もあるようですが進んでいないようで、近郊区間として速達性に難点のある区間でもあります。東照宮を過ぎ東北新幹線の高架を潜る手前で東北本線と交差。進行左側から東北本線に沿って仙台駅構内に入ります。山形を出発した時の雪景色は何処へやら。気候の違いを目の当たりにする線区です。↓ぼろりぁびゅう@YouTube（max1280x720）
