9 Eyes Of Google Street View
On Thursday the 28th April 2011, Sid Lee Collective Amsterdam opened it’s latest exhibition; 9 Eyes of Google Street View. The first solo show by Canadian ‘internet aware’ artist Jon Rafman. Rafman was in attendance to give an artist talk relating his work and the concept of online social worlds. A topic which fueled the interest of all visitors, ranging from local hipsters to curators and museum directors. For all that are not living in Amsterdam, we invited Jon Rafman to talk about his art and his Google Street View project and documented it for you to see. Exhibition at SID LEE gallery, Amsterdam April 28th 2011. Project by artist Jon Rafman. Curated by Daniel Butler & Jeroen Smeets (Your:Own) for Sid Lee Collective, Amsterdam.
