No sooner had the government agreed the first stimulus package than calls for even bigger cash infusions became louder. Analysts and politicians are trying to outdo each other in finding ways to fire up the economy again. But lawmakers disagree over the right recipe, and even economists don’t know what would help get Germany out of the economic crisis.
