The Torrington TItans appeared to be headed toward a one-run deficit in the top of the eighth inning of Friday night’s FCBL game against the Seacoast Mavericks at Fuessenich Park, but left fielder Cole Harrison kept the game tied. On a base hit to left field by Davidson Peguero, Harrison fired the ball home to catcher Ryan Plourde, who put the tag on Jerico Weitzel for the second out of the inning. Pitcher Gavin McCullough got the final out of the inning. The Titans won the game 2-0.
