(China) Here is another folk song arranged by the singer Su Yang, and further transformed by the wonderful animator Hu Zhong Qiang. The tune is from the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. While Su Yang’s song "Phoenix" took a simple courtship song and transformed it into a warning about the threat of industrial pollution, the theme of this video is the quandary that parents face trying to instill country values (strength and virtue) into their children, who live in an increasingly changing and urbanized environment.
