Beckham underwent surgery Monday for a totally torn left Achilles tendon and is expected to be out of action for about six months. The 34-year-old midfielder was injured Sunday while playing for Italian club AC Milan. Florent Malouda says "I think it must be a difficult moment for him because he made in the recent months a lot of effort to prepare for the World Cup and I just hope he will make a good recovery and I just hope it wasn’t his last game."
