Styrofoam has endured a bad reputation for years from those that claim it is bad for the environment. Well it looks like things may be turning around for one of America's favorite polystyrene thermal insulates. Leading this change in perception is a couple of real estate guys in Washington that use the substance for building homes. Apparently, using Styrofoam can save you some serious cash in energy costs. So maybe it is time to stop badmouthing, and start building, with Styrofoam.
