(News 12) That's her story, and she's stickin' to it. Former Alaska Governor and potential presidential candidate Sarah Palin is defending her account of Paul Revere's famous midnight ride. CHRIS WALLACE: "You realize that you messed up about Paul Revere, don't you?" PALIN: "You know what? I didn't mess up about Paul Revere. ... But remember that the British had already been there — many soldiers — for seven years in that area. And part of Paul Revere's ride... And it wasn't just one ride. He was a courier. He was a messenger. Part of his ride was to warn the British that were already there that, 'Hey. You're not going to succeed. You're not going to take American arms.' ... And I know my American history." After which her opponents — gleefully went on the attack -- saying -- uhhhh... wasn't he warning the Americans -- not the British? And -- no way was he ringing bells... CHRIS MATTHEWS: "Oh, God. That speaks for her credentials more than anything else.
