相撲協会、八百長問題調査結果など文科省に報告 本場所開催へ「一定の評価いただいた」
日本相撲協会の放駒理事長は、一連の八百長問題の調査結果と再発防止策を文部科学省に報告し、名古屋での本場所開催に向けて、「一定の評価をいただけた」との見解を示した。放駒理事長は文部科学省で、一連の八百長問題についてあらためて陳謝するとともに、調査結果の報告書を手渡した。これに対し、高木文科相は「ぜひ、本場所目指して、緊張感を持って協会運営にあたっていただきたい」と述べた。放駒理事長は会談後、「一定の評価をいただいたので、あす(2日)理事会を開き、名古屋場所開催を正式に決定したい」と述べた。
