(Al Jazeera English News Headlines: March 9, 2011) Private planes carrying senior representatives from Moammar Gaddafi’s government took off from Libya on Wednesday. The move comes as Western powers discuss more sanctions against Gaddafi's regime.  Inside Libya Gaddafi's forces have become more aggressive, attacking rebels with heavy weapons and airstrikes. There has been growing concern that bombing gas facilities in the town could end in disaster for people living in the area.
