A Route 66 icon, this cafe originally was built in 1939 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Unfortunately, it burnt down in 2008 but that wouldn’t stop owner Dawn Welch from rebuilding and reopening in May 2009! Enjoy delicious eats from their cafe style menu such as fried green tomatoes and okra! Route 66 souvenirs can be found in the cafe and the gift shop across the street.
