Loggins and Messina - Sittin' in again live at the Santa Barbara Bowl (deel 3 van 3)
It has taken Kenny Loggins and Jim Messina almost 30 years to produce this package. That’s how long it had been since the two had toured prior to the summer of 2005. To refresh your memory, Jim Messina became an original member of Poco after a stint with Buffalo Springfield. He was a producer for Columbia Records when he met songwriter Kenny Loggins, and the two began work on what was originally to have been Loggins' first solo album. As they worked on the album, Messina provided guitar and backup vocals. Ultimately, the album came out as Kenny Loggins with Jim Messina Sittin' In. Their career as a duo would produce five studio albums and a run of hit singles. Fast forward to 2005, and a string of sold out performances, captured on CD and DVD as Live: Sittin' in Again at the Santa Barbara Bowl. ________________________________________________ 01.
