Some good news in flat GDP growth
UK GDP growth remained at 1.2 per cent in the second quarter, according to the final revision from the Office for National Statistics. Chris Giles, economics editor, finds some good news in the data, but also predicts a bumpy road ahead. He looks at the IMF’s endorsement of the coalition's debt reduction plan and how Ed Miliband, the new labour leader, will respond.
