Scrums Liberal MP John McKay spoke to reporters about the Bev Oda matter and about whether his office has received any cyber threats. Bloc Québécois House leader Pierre Paquette commented on the Davie shipyard, located in Lévis, Quebec, that is being prevented from bidding on the government’s $35-billion national shipbuilding program. NDP MP Peter Julian also discussed shipbuilding contracts and the U.S.’ proposed $5.50 fee for Canadians who enter the country by air and sea. Liberal MP Wayne Easter spoke to reporters about the issue of television commercials that are too loud. Conservative MP Nina Grewal has introduced a bill that would limit the loudness of ads and the CRTC also recently launched a public review on the matter.
