This is part of the documentation of the YouthBuild Lawrence youth leaders and their development of a campaign to fight littering in their city. The campaign was a hands-on project as part of Marshall Ganz’s 'Organizing: People, Power and Change' class at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government in Spring 2008. YouthBuild Lawrence is an AmeriCorps program located in the city of Lawrence, Massachusetts. Their mission is to: -Provide members with GED preparation and hands-on carpentry skills training. -Provide members with opportunities for academic and professional growth. -Participate in a variety of service projects in the community.
