Pogotowie ratunkowe we Wrocławiu otrzymało dofinansowanie z Europejskiego Funduszu Rozwoju Regionalnego na zakup 12 ambulansów. Dotacja przyczyniła się do podniesienia poziomu usług ratownictwa medycznego w tym mieście. Wrocławskie pogotowie jest jedną z wielu placówek w regionie, które korzystały ze środków europejskich. Podobnego zakupu, choć na mniejszą skalę, dokonało również pogotowie ratunkowe w Świdnicy.
