Code Talkers (Comanche)
Children at Indian boarding schools were taught to suppress their native language.  Those who kept their language became known as Code Talkers. During World War II, 13 Comanche soldiers used Comanche words to develop a code that has evolved into a language preservation initiative today. An OETA Centennial Story.
