GlaxoSmithKline to Cut 130 Jobs
Pharmaceutical company, GlaxoSmithKline (NYSE:GSK) plans to cut 130 jobs in Waterford, Ireland. The company currently employs 700 staff members at the Waterford facility.As part of the move, 48 jobs will be lost to the company’s Panadol unit in Spain.The jobs will be cut between now and 2014.GlaxoSmithKline has a potential upside of 3.9% based on a current price of $43.79 and an average consensus analyst price target of $45.5.GlaxoSmithKline is currently above its 50-day moving average (MA) of $42.64 and above its 200-day of $40.06.
