Visa Blocks WikiLeaks Payment Channel
Visa (NYSE:V) has decided to shutter a donation channel to WikiLeaks after payment processor DataCell briefly accepted money transfers to the site. WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange claims that the seven-month-long blockade by Visa, MasterCard (NYSE:MA) and other financial and Internet service companies, has cost his group millions of dollars. Visa Europe says the temporary processing of donations appears to have been an accident.Visa (NYSE:V) has a potential upside of 10% based on a current price of $88.97 and an average consensus analyst price target of $97.83.
