預料燦都中午到傍晚登陸廣東西部沿海地區
廣東氣象局預計，颱風燦都中午至傍晚在廣東西部沿海地區登陸。 江門、陽江、茂名及湛江合共2萬8千多艘漁船，回港避風，漁排上7千名工作人員亦已上岸。湛江不少民眾趕到菜市場和超市，搶購蔬菜瓜果。 中央氣象台發布颱風橙色預警及暴雨黃色預警，預料廣東西南、廣西東南及海南中北部，會有大暴雨或特大暴雨。 國家減災委、民政部啓動國家救災預警，緊急部署救災工作。
