相撲協会理事選挙で当選果たした貴乃花親方、朝青龍暴行騒動について「重く受け止める」
日本相撲協会の理事選挙で当選を果たした貴乃花親方が、横綱・朝青龍の暴行騒動について、「重く受け止める」と語った。貴乃花親方は「理事長もきのう(1日)の会見でおっしゃった通り、今までになく重く受け止めなければならないと、私も同意いたします。真相究明、本当に何があったのかということを、まずわれわれ協会員が知ることが、次の第一歩になってくると思います。(仮に刑事事件になった場合、どのように対処するのか?)今まで以上よりも、重く受け止めなければならないと思います」と語った。
