Federal regulators are looking into a report that an air traffic controller at Washington’s Reagan National Airport fell asleep this week, which forced two jetliners to land without tower clearance.Pilots from American Airlines (NYSE:AMR) and a United Airlines (NYSE:UAL) flight were unable to reach anyone at the airport tower when they approached Reagan National early on Wednesday.
