Skedee Creek Preserve, Pawnee
Travel Correspondent Lauren Jones goes for a safari type adventure in Pawnee at Skedee Creek Preserve. The animal preserve has hundreds of different animals, and visitors can see them first-hand in a wagon ride, where animals like deer, goats and ostrich come right up to the wagon to be fed. Skedee Creek Preserve also has all kinds of primates, reptiles, birds and even tigers! Visitors can even help feed the baby animals! Open Saturday and Sunday: 10 a.m. til dark. Open by appointment only on weekdays.
