Status Quo - Spinning Wheel Blues
Before Status Quo – or shortly The Quo – became famous for their boogie influenced hard rock, the group started in the late 60s as a psychedelic flavoured pop band. The absence of success initiated the band to change their musical direction. The song “Spinning Wheel Blues” is taken from their first hard rock-styled album “Ma Kelly's Greasy Spoon” (1970). A few years later the straight boogie rock became their signature sound throughout the 70s and a template for many following recordings.
