胡美儀：「我很開心自己可以生長在香港，一個有自由有空間的地方，我本來是一個製衣女工，在很偶然的機會之下，參加了TVB一個戲劇比賽，得到冠軍，成為他們的合約藝員，在做藝員當中，我學到很多關於化妝美容、美學造型的東西，現在我又可以用天賦的歌聲唱歌，在日常工作這麼繁忙的日子裡，可以給大家心靈上一些舒暢，這一切的一切，都是我土生土長的香港，給我的機會和培養，希望各階層的朋友，對香港多一份祝福，有更多信心，更多盼望，我確信一定會有美好的果實。」
