カバの赤ちゃんお披露目 神戸・王子動物園
神戸市灘区の市立王子動物園で１３日、８月に生まれたカバの赤ちゃんが公開された。カバの赤ちゃんが生まれたのは同園では２０年ぶり。体重は現在約１００キロ。母親の「ナミコ」が神経質になっていて飼育員がそばに近づけないため、性別はわかっていない。常に母親に寄り添う赤ちゃんの愛らしい姿に、訪れた親子連れや遠足の小学生たちが歓声を上げていた。同園では赤ちゃんの性別が判明した後、名前を公募する予定。
