Free Admission(Entrada Franca) Short film made in Super 8mm Production year: 1978 Encouraged by friends, I accepted the challenge of publishing on the internet some of my short films from the 70’s, when I was 18 years old, and in that time the Super 8mm media was used in the production of the films and showed in some festivals in Brazil. Unfortunately, the ways of storaging the movies allied with difficulties caused by the weather condition of my city, as I live near the sea, damaged some of the scenes. Now with great pleasure, I would like to share with you, and I sincerely hope that you like it. Entrada Franca(Free Admission) translates with images the sub-human conditions of residents in two slums in the city of Recife, Brazil. The reactions before the camera are polarized between children and adults, who suffer oppressions from the situation of their lives.
