中六收生程序第二階段第二部分開始，考獲14分或以上的考生，可以前往仍有學額的中學申請入讀。 目前全港剩餘3,359個學額，以沙田區最多有317個，其次是大埔區和觀塘區，最少是港島中西區和荃灣區，分別只有35個和77個學額。 至於直資中學目前仍有297個學額。
