The Museum Access Consortium and The Museum of Modern Art host Welcoming People with Alzheimer’s Disease to Your Museum Monday, March 16, 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.  The Museum of Modern Art Over 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease. Museum programs can be mutually beneficial to people with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers, providing them with opportunities for communication, connection, and learning that can enrich their lives. Learn about Alzheimer’s disease, and its effect on both the patient and caregiver, and ways to make your museum accessible to this population
