Please…stay on the grass
iReport — This weekend our family went to the Chalkfest held on the newly designed “400 block” here in town. Very colorful and interesting displays of expression took shape over the weekend. Artists looked to the skies hoping the expected rain to hold off. It didn’t. Rain arrived early Sunday morning. As soon as the sun peeked out the square became alive again with activity. Adults, teens, kids, all participated together. Interview is with artist Emily Voss. Her portrait of a woman jailed and tortured in the past inspired her to spend hours keeping her story alive. It was nice seeing so many people out and enjoying the day.
