In North Korea there is no Internet. Information is controlled and rationed by the government, which feeds a carefully crafted set of lies and half-truths to its people everyday. Radios and TVs are officially fixed and can’t be tuned to foreign broadcasts yet an increasing number of people are managing to keep tabs on the wider world via underground radio reception. Martyn Williams traveled to South Korea to find out the lengths people need to go to when there is no Internet.
