The Black Eagle — El Aguila Negra is a verité view of an immigrant worker subculture, and a bittersweet story of family and fatherhood in New York City.  Performing for appreciative immigrant audiences, Armando, who goes by the name “El Aguila Negra”, plays love songs for tips on the streets, restaurants, beauty salons, barbershops and funeral homes. Despite the hardships and meager income, Armando pursues his music and his dream of a better future for himself and his family in Mexico.
