New bill tracks scrap sales
A new anti-meth bill from the Kansas House of Representatives regulates the sale of scrap metal. Law enforcement officials found cases of people stealing and selling scrap metal to raise money for producing and buying meth. The bill requires scrap metal purchases to be made by check in order to account for who exactly is buying scrap metal.
