"Passages of the train upon the bridge" or "Passagens do Trem sobre a Ponte " was developed for the master’s degree project at Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade de São Paulo in 2006. It alos was selected for the exhibition in Beyond Media Festival, 9th International Festival for Architecture and Media, July 12h, 2009. The metropolis, clouds, water, railroads, and steel architecture are explored and presented in different atmospheres in motion picture history. Here, these elements become alive to help us to reread memories of black and white movies such as Metropolis by Fritz Lang and Berlin: Die Symphonie der Großstadt by Walter Ruttmann.
