香港各界慶典委員會在跑馬地運動場，舉行回歸13周年嘉年華，之後巡遊隊伍途經灣仔，至修頓球場結束。 來自本地和內地30個團體，在沿途表演。 有參與活動的市民表示，回歸是本港盛事。但亦有市民認為，失業率未有回落，市民生活未有改善。
