東京・中野区の住宅街に、タヌキの大家族が暮らしています。子どもは「あそことあそこ。縁の下にいる」と話しました。子どもが指す方向にカメラを向けること20分、タヌキが現れました。中野区南台では、数年前から近所の小学校などを歩くタヌキの姿が目撃されていましたが、今では子ダヌキも生まれ、9匹の大家族になりました。隣に住む子どもは「ここ森じゃないのに、いるんだなぁって思いました」と話した。近所に住む人は「猫よりは大きいですね。学校のそばにも出てたんですよ。こっちに来たのねー、と思って」と話しました。都は、自然のものと考えられるので、危害を加えないのであれば、刺激しないで見守ってほしいとしています。
