Bericht vom 17.03.2011: Eine deutsche Firma will die Stromversorgung einer ganzen Insel im Atlantik komplett auf erneuerbare Energien umstellen. Die Firma Younicos, Tochter des Solar-Unternehmens Solon, startete am 2. Juli 2009 in Berlin einen entsprechenden Testversuch. Dabei soll simuliert werden, wie die Azoren-Insel Graciosa mit Strom aus Wind und Sonne versorgt wird.
