Apache’s Oil, Gas Fields in Texas, Egypt
John Christmann, vice president of the Permian region for Apache Corp., talks with Bloomberg’s Edward Klump about the company's growth outlook and strategy. Apache was started in Minneapolis in 1954 and later moved its headquarters to Houston. The company has expanded its production since the mid-1990s by almost fivefold to become the largest U.S. independent oil and gas company, with about 730,000 barrels a day of oil and gas output and a global reach. Christmann and Klump spoke on June 23 in Midland, Texas.
