Alabama lab monitoring radiation threat from Japan
The National Air and Radiation Laboratory in Montgomery, Ala. analyzes data from the Environmental Protection Agency’s 124 radiation monitors across the country. Despite the nuclear crisis in Japan, lab director Ronald Fraass says "there is no cause for alarm" in the US. (Nightly News)
